🐾 Help Us Give Street Pets a Voice! 🐾
Every day, countless stray cats and dogs face harsh conditions on our streets—braving hunger, weather extremes, and untreated injuries. But we have the power to change their story.
True change starts with compassionate, sustainable solutions. By supporting humane population management (like TNRM), providing clean water and food, and choosing to adopt instead of shop, we can create safer, kinder neighborhoods for both people and animals.
A small act of kindness can save a life. Let’s look out for our community animals together! ❤️

Welcome to Hayatul Hayawan (The Life of Animals). We are a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering compassion, ending animal cruelty, and championing the welfare of all living creatures across Malaysia.
Our foundation is built upon the profound Islamic philosophy of Rahmah (universal mercy) and the sacred duty of Khilafah (stewardship). In Islam, animals are created as communities unto themselves—deserving of protection, respect, and humane treatment.
Our Philosophy: Mercy Beyond Boundaries
While our efforts began with addressing the urgent plight of stray populations, our mission encompasses the entirety of Allah’s creation. We advocate for:
- Stray & Companion Animals: Educating the public on ethical treatment and replacing fear with empathy. In addressing misconceptions around animals often deemed najis (impure), such as dogs, we emphasize that ritual impurity never justifies cruelty, neglect, or harm.
- Local Wildlife & Ecosystems: Protecting native species that share our environment, ensuring human expansion does not destroy their natural habitats.
- Endangered Species: Guarding Malaysia’s unique biodiversity as a religious and moral trust for future generations.
What We Do
- Public Education & Advocacy: Reconnecting the community with Islamic teachings of animal welfare to eliminate abuse, fear-based avoidance, and inhumane treatment.
- Humane Population Control: Supporting and implementing sustainable, compassionate methods such as Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return-Manage (TNVR-M) for stray dogs and cats.
- Habitat & Species Preservation: Partnering with conservationists to protect local wildlife and promote peaceful coexistence between humans and native animals.
Together, we strive to build a society where every creature—from the stray on our streets to the wildlife in our forests—can co-exist in safety and dignity.
